On January 14, 2010, the acting-governor signed into law amendments to the driving while intoxicated laws. The municipal court judge may order the installation of an interlock ignition device or the suspension of the offender’s registration privileges. Use of the interlock ignition device will be mandatory for offenders of the refusal law and for those offenders with a blood alcohol level of 0.15% or greater.
